in every dictators handbook - the Castro brothers
played that one, successfully, for like 50 years.

Alas, by all outside intel, NK is a *disaster*,
large-scale starvation ... and what's the extreme
polar opposite of "human rights" ? So where, how,
does NK get the people and resources to even
BUILD all these missiles ?

I think NK gets its stuff from China, and China
has a reason for it. Kim is always a *distraction*,
loud and threatening. He uses-up western intel
and mil resources that COULD/SHOULD be thinking
just about China instead. Also if Xi wants to
start something he'll have Kim do it - so his
own hands can seem clean.
