California is battered by Mother Nature: Death Valley FLOODS
as tornado warning issued for San Diego and 5.1-magnitude
earthquake rocks the state... before Tropical Storm Hilary
smashes LA with 80mph winds
Death Valley National Park has closed due to flooding as a
result of the downpour brought by Tropical Storm Hilary
The park, often one of the hottest and driest places on earth,
released shocking footage of streams coursing through its arid
land
Also on Sunday a 5.1 magnitude quake centered in Ventura County
was felt across parts of Southern California on Sunday afternoon
A tornado warning has been issued for San Diego and the
surrounding Alpine and Descanso areas
. . .
Nature's out to GET California it seems !
Actually the flooding will also push into
most of Nevada too.
That part of the world is NOT set up for heavy
rain. The soil is hard, long-baked, the water
either runs downhill really really fast or it
finds a chink and creates huge mud-slides.
