13 million Americans tuned in for cable network's first
Republican debate - while Tucker Carlson's X interview with
Donald Trump gets 238 million 'views' ... and counting
The Fox News-hosted Republican primary debate on Wednesday
night attracted almost 13 million viewers
Fox declared it was 'the most-watched, non-sporting event
cable telecast of the year'
The debate's viewing figures were dwarfed by former Fox
anchor Tucker Carlson's interview with Trump on X - although
views are calculated differently
. . .
Did Carlson/Trump beat out GOP 'Debate' by like 20 TIMES
viewership ???
Well, not REALLY.
280 Million "Views" - a lot of them would have been
5-year-olds .......
A "view" isn't the same as 'viewership' - which means
spending a dedicated amount of time paying attention
to a more-or-less real-life event or story.
HOWEVER - this shows that Trump is still VASTLY
INTERESTING to the public. This may not be a great
thing - DeSantis, Haley, even Pence - would actually
be better ultimate candidates, but Trump is STILL
the Big Guy. His soap-opera life is just hypnotic.
Today the Wokies went banana republic on Trump. This
just INCREASES his fame, he becomes even MORE hypnotic.
Rig it so he can't be POTUS again and you've created
a martyr ... one even those 'independents' can
sympathize with. That's how it works.
