FDA recalls MORE eyedrops over infection risk - and reveals
they're made at an Indian factory where workers are BAREFOOT
and tamper with test results
The FDA has named an Indian facility as the factory producing
tainted eye drops
The agency saw workers walking around barefoot and tampering
with results
Most concerningly, the bacteria identified was drug-resistant
bug pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Specific facility in question: Kilitch Healthcare India Limited
. . .
Hey, I got a PA infection in a wound as a kiddie, it
was a BITCH to get rid of even then. NOW it's immune
to almost all drugs.
Clue : greenish pus = PA. Go to the emergency room
like RIGHT NOW.
As for these foreign pharma manufacturers. Well, you
get what you pay for. Brand-X whatever, you NEVER know
how it was made. Sterile conditions, adherence to
testing - FORGET THAT.
Hmm ... saw a commercial for "generic Viagra" a few
minutes ago. Probably has SOME of the active ingredient
in it ... and who knows WHAT other industrial waste
products ......
And the Indian factory ... it WILL fire some of its
workers, and then hire their cousins. Nothing will
change. You can buy a Russian-made car too, but note
that the idea of "quality control" does NOT seem to
be part of the Russian lexicon.
