Rise of skimpflation: How major supermarkets and food brands
are changing their recipes to reduce the use of expensive
ingredients - but still increasing costs to consumers

Researchers for Dispatches compare product ingredient lists
    over past few years

They say recipes have changed to remove costlier ingredients
    despite price rises

    . . .

First they put less stuff in the same-sized boxes, now
they're going super-cheap on WHAT they put in the boxes
    without saying anything.

IMHO this is a species of vast FRAUD/THEFT and ARRESTS
should be considered. Lawsuits at least .....

Hmmm ... you go to buy a car and the sticker says it
has a V-8 engine - but you quickly FIND it has a dinky
4-cyl after you drive off the lot. Would you feel
defrauded ? HELL YES ! Legally actionable ? HELL YES !
