Nikki Haley didn’t bat an eye when Donald Trump started
calling her “birdbrain.” She brushed off his mocking of
her surge in the polls by saying she was flattered by
the attention. She’s even pledged to pardon him.

But when it comes to his allies’ latest line of attack,
Haley will bring a town hall to a halt. Over her record
on the gas tax, of all things.

With polls showing Haley gaining on Trump in New Hampshire,
the former U.N. ambassador is ratcheting up her attacks on
her one-time boss.

“I don’t talk about opponents. I never have. I don’t think
you want to hear it,” Haley said to an overflowing crowd in
a country western-themed bar near New Hampshire’s seacoast
on Wednesday.

Haley HAS to distinguish herself from Trump - otherwise
there's no reason for her to run.

IMHO, she's still the best candidate ... MAGA, but JUST
flexible enough to bring in those vital cross-over votes.

Trump ... They ARE gonna find ways to prevent him from
ever being POTUS again. It's a crusade - and a paranoia,
given the pogrom he intends to (maybe rightfully) pursue.
He will NOT be the next POTUS even if extreme measures
are involved.

DeSantis would be a good POTUS, but Haley has a broader
appeal and "more personality". After looking at this
shit for the past year, IMHO she's the one.

And worthy of being the "first female POTUS" ... unlike
that other one .......

Random spoiler ... RFK. He's a very weird guy who yesterday
did quality for one states ballot and will probably qualify
for at least a few others. He's a 'liberal', albeit with a
(slight) libertarian streak. His main claim to fame though
is being totally paranoid about the Covid vax.

This does not reflect intelligence IMHO. The Covid debacle ...
which included nearly-fascist measures and official
persecution of anybody not 101% with The Program ... yea,
THAT needs to be avoided in the future. However Vax is
generally GOOD, not to be trashed.

Sorry Bob ... most of us had The Vax and survived quite
nicely. It was not the Devil's Work ... but modern tech
at its best and quickest. The NEXT plague ... get yer
vax early .....

Maybe it's mean of me, but watching those (mostly 'religious')
anti-vaxxers on Media drop like flies did NOT upset me much ...
