Almost all of the majors that lead to the highest starting
salaries are in engineering.
Graduates that studied computer engineering, aerospace
engineering and electrical engineering earned annual average
salaries of more than $70,000 in the five years after
finishing college.
That's more than twice the salary of those that took the
lowest-paying majors, according to a study by the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York.
It comes a week after a separate study showed that most
college degrees offer better returns than the stock market.
In the new report, graduates that took theology, liberal
arts, hospitality, psychology and anthropology were all
earning $40,000 or less in the same five years. That is
below the median US personal income of $40,480 in 2022.
. . .
Well, it looks like DOING REAL STUFF still
ranks supreme. The lefties will have to
find a way to destroy THAT !
Meanwhile, that "Historical Basket-Weaving"
major ... um ... might wanna rethink. The world
needs about ONE expert in historical basket-weaving
technique.
