Here is the sinister reason why nobody wants to live in a
$2.4million California mansion that has been vacant for
    60 years

2475 Glendower Place boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms

It is nestled in the foothills of Los Feliz, a pricey suburb
    outside Los Angeles

The home has landed on the market repeatedly, but each new
    owner left it empty

All because it was the site of a grizzly 1959 murder where
a husband beat his wife to death with a ball-peen hammer.

    . . .

    Bang Bang Maxwell's silver hammer ? :-)

In any case, seems a LOT of people believe places
can be "cursed" by horrific events. All the cheesy
'paranormal' tv shows just reinforce such beliefs.

Ya know though, there's hardly a square meter in
Europe/UK where someone didn't get horribly killed
or beheaded or hacked to pieces given all the wars
and skirmishes over 2000+ years .....

Now the BEST reason not to live there - it's in
Shitty CALIFORNIA ... land of REAL (dope) zombies
    and bona-fide govt-sponsored maniacs slashing
their way up and down the streets.
