"Master of the World" - Vincent Price, Charles Bronson (1961)
Mad "peacenik" in proto-Zepp demands surrender of all
world governments - a clear rip-off of Capt Nemo.
Bronson COULD read a dramatic role - but he was only
just SO good at it, a "B+" actor perhaps. Later in
life he got stuck in those "angry avenger" roles
until he dropped-out of films entirely.
Price COULD do anything, but was moved into a LOT of
"weird guy" sci-fi-ish low-budget roles in the 60s.
Paid the bills I suppose ... and kept him in public
view all the way through Edward Sissorhands.
