    . . .

Um ... NOT gonna pay $50k ... not gonna pay $25k.

I'll need another new vehicle soon - and it will be
    like a $15-$18k USED one.

And it will be "cash" ... not some loan where I'll
pay like THREE+ TIMES as much for the damned thing.

Granny said to never buy on credit what you can't
afford to pay cash - she was VERY wise, from BAD
    old times.

Ya know, I used to drive a '69 Falcon ... 200 straight six.
You could basically climb into the engine compartment to
get at anything. GREAT mid-sized car - reliable, powerful
enough, structurally-sound steel. The old Mustangs were
just Falcons with a sportier body bolted on.

Admittedly, the old cast-iron/carburated engines were
not built to last as long as modern, high-tolerance,
better-materials, engines. However carrying on the
Falcon concept ... a more modern V6 would be the
best mod. 200,000+ miles and better MPG. Leave off
as much of the computer BS as possible.

I've SEEN these on "classic" car sites ... and the
prices ain't THAT bad ...... 'retro' yet 'better'.

ANY modern maker OUGHT to be able to build the equiv
of this car at a very affordable price - but they DON'T.

So, FUCK modern car-makers. SEVERE rip-offs. NOT what
the "Average Joe/Jane" needs at all these days.
