A doctor-to-the-stars was assassinated outside his own clinic
by a gunman who ran up and shot him from behind as he walked
to his car.
Hamid Reza Mirshojae, 61, was killed in the car park of Warner
Plaza Urgent Center on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Los Angeles
about 5.30pm last Friday.
The urgent and emergency care doctor, who also treated drug
and alcohol addition, was shot from point-blank range before
he even knew he was in danger.
Other than grainy CCTV footage, police have little idea of
the motive or the identity of the assassin and appealed to
the public for information.
