    Hadn't seen this one in a LONG LONG time.

    Made just before Jane Fonda became horribly TOXIC.

    I think I recall her saying she was ashamed of the
    role - but it was really period-appropriate kische.
    There were a number of similar cheap films made
    around that time. She had maybe a few too many IQ
    points for this film, but ...

    Fonda really WAS a gorgeous babe too with that 60s
    aire of casual sexual liberation.

    Then the communists and wars against "patriarchy"
    and, well, not worth watching anymore. Went from
    good humor to dripping poison.

    Same time-frame, similar IQ, note Goldie Hawn - also
    ultra-appealing - but she never lost the good humor,
    never got drawn into the Communist Manifesto. Seems
    she's lived a happy life, Fonda - darker.
