In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 17, was
Paul Barney.
The 64-year-old, of Flowers Piece, Ashampstead, admitted possessing 14 extreme pornographic images which portrayed, in an explicit and
realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live
animal on October 20, 2021.
Magistrates told Mr Barney, who was legally represented at the hearing
by Nicholas Wragg, that they were sending the case to Reading Crown
Court to be sentenced by a judge on a date to be fixed.
Mr Barney was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
