There is only one God, Yahweh the Creator of the world, so we have no idols. The new testament forbids idolatry, so the God of Jesus of Nazareth does not allow idolatry. Jesus can not be deified. Mary can not be deified. Apostle Paul can not be
deified. Archangel Michael can not be deified. Michael is an Angel. Jesus is a man. Paul is a man. Mary is a woman. It is important to get the correct classifications for the biblical figures to accord them correct and proper treatment, the same
for everyone and everything. Facts are important. The New Testament aims to teach facts. Things in the New Testament in their literal sort of application can be non-factual. Calling Jesus God is only exaggeration because he pushes very hard to be a
saviour figure. Literally he is only human. It is just his ego is very big and he pushes to be glorious. He was crucified for this reason also as he got too big for his boots and had to pay the price, Mary's boy child.
