New Delhi: The Delhi Government on Friday withdrew its
suit from the Supreme Court on determination of whether
Delhi can be declared a full State. By doing so, it paved
way for hearing of an appeal challenging a recent Delhi
High Court judgment which had held that the Centre
exercises administrative control on Delhi through the
Lieutenant-Governor, thus setting aside all unilateral
decisions taken by AAP Government.
