COP'S DAUGHTER HELD FOR THEFT OF MOBILE PHONES

New Delhi - Two people, including the daughter of a Delhi
Police sub-inspector, have been arrested for allegedly
being involved in snatching mobile phones in northwest
Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area, police said on Sunday.

The duo was arrested on Saturday when two policemen
noticed them in a car having no number plate, a police
official said."She and her accomplice, used to target
lone girls on the road by requesting them to allow her to
use their mobile phones to make a call, citing an
emergency. They used to flee in the car which didn't have
a number plate," DCP (Northwest) Milind Mahadeo Dumbere
said.
