The article states that Mr. Blinken concluded that U.S. national security interests outweigh human rights.
As Egypt continues to imprison and torture journalists, peaceful civil society activists and human rights defenders, you can blame Antony J. Blinken, the modern-day equivalent of Joachim von Ribbentrop.
