Three people were shot, including an 8-year-old little girl, following a
crash that led to a road rage shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspected shooter. They
are searching for a man believed to be in his 30s with a thin build who
was wearing a gray GAP hooded sweatshirt, black pants and one Nike
    sneaker.

At 2:49 p.m. Philadelphia police officers responded to a call for multiple shots fired along the 400 block of East Allegheny Avenue, investigators
    said.

A black car was driving southbound along Rosehill Street and was
attempting to make a left-hand turn onto East Allegheny Avenue when they
hit a person on a scooter who was driving in the center lane on Allegheny Avenue, Deputy Police Commissioner Pedro Rosario said.

The driver of the vehicle didn't see the person on the scooter and struck
them causing the scooter to go flying and land some feet away, Rosario
    said.

"The operator of that scooter gets up, produces a handgun and starts
firing indiscriminately in this direction," Rosario said.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance video obtained by NBC10.

    the street.

An 8-year-old little girl was in a car being picked up by her father when
she was hit in the head by a bullet, police said. Her father immediately
drove her to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

The little girl is a student at Lewis Elkin Elementary School, according
to the School District of Philadelphia.

The second victim, a 47-year-old woman, was shot in her Audi -- a bullet
hole in the windshield. She was shot twice in the right side of her face
and a graze wound to her left shoulder, police said. She was transported
by medics to the hospital and listed in critical but table condition.

The School District of Philadelphia also confirmed one of the victims, the driver of the Audi, is a teacher at Conwell Middle School. She’s been with
the district for at least two decades.

“We are grateful that they were not more seriously injured and are praying
for both families," the school district said. "No one wants to receive the
news that a student, teacher, or anyone has been shot in our city."

gun violence in Philadelphia. Further information can be found here.

"I am horrified by another act of senseless gun violence in our city, this
time a triple shooting that left three individuals wounded--including an 8-year-old student at Elkin Elementary and a beloved teacher at Conwell
Middle School," the Philadelphia Federation Teachers President Jerry
Jordan said. "Our students, staff, and families need and deserve to feel safe--but today, a random shooting shortly after schools dismissed once
again showed that so much more must be done to truly address the
heartbreak wrought by the sinister crisis of gun violence."

The third victim was a 45-year-old pedestrian who was shot in the leg,
police said. Police transported that man to the hospital where he was
    listed in stable condition.

The driver of the black sedan that appeared to strike the driver later
reported the crash to 25th District Police, investigators said.

As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made and no weapons were
    recovered.
