Since it is after midnight now here in St. John’s, Newfoundland,
and approaching breakfast time on March 17 in Ireland,
a big Happy St. Patrick’s Day to any readers.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to any readers!

Though most of the festivities were on the weekend, I plan
to attend Paddy’s Day Proper at The Peter Easton Pub
(formerly Bridgett’s Pub) here in St. John's, from 7--10 p.m.
March 17, $15 cover. It will feature headliner Colleen Power
playing with Dave and Geoff Panting of Rawlins Cross, with
Claire Porter doing an opening set. And The Peter Easton
has the cheapest pints of Guinness, Smithwick’s, and
Kilkenny in town, at only $6.75 (4.32 Euro, US$4.70),
but note that it is cash only.

I’m still plugging away on alt.religion.druid , but if an attempt
I started tonight fails then I will have to give up on my
Sisyphean/Cry Wolf attempts for at least a few days,
and probably until new/dark moon, and possibly until
    Beltane eve.

For future reference, they also have a tradition round table
unamplified Newfoundland and Irish jam session every
Saturday night from 8--11 p.m., no cover, hosted by
    button accordionist Tamsyn Russell.
