It is ridiculous of course for Mnangagwa to call the
assassination attempt "cowardly". It is part of a
world upside-down. Mnangagwa's involvement in the
massacre of innocents was cowardly. An attempt to remove
a murderous dictator from power by force is brave and heroic,
just to set that record straight. The odds are uphill for any
person or group seeking to remove a powerful head of state.
It is also hypocritical for the U.S. State Department to proclaim
that "Political violence in any form is unacceptable." But their
own politically motivated violence in endless warfare, they pretend
is brave and heroic, when they are really seeking global hegemony
and control of lucrative resources as their first and foremost goal.
They worship their own military violence while pretending that no
others could have justifications for violence far better than their own.
The senseless violence is the U.S. gun violence that is aided and
abetted by Republican party political games and loyalties in defiance
of all reality and reason. What part of overthrowing a vicious dictator
would not make sense to them?
A wise poet once said, "There is entirely too much senseless violence
in the world. What we need is for once to have some violence that
makes some sense." This attempt, if anything, would be a good
example for which we can only hope that tomorrow is another day.
