I've found a marriage record in 1905 for an Ellis Sampson of Wards Bay, Manchester, to one Emily Parchment of Alligator Pond, Manchester. (The marriage was performed at St. Michael's Church.)
Does anyone have any idea where Wards Bay is? (I have to admit that the writing on the record is none too good, but the groom's abode sure looks
like Wards Bay.) It's not on my trusty Esso map.
