    Im a Mayo from PR. Descedant of Bernardo Mayo Escabí.

    Mayo surname is telated to the Earl of Sandwich? Is this a joke?

    If you are looking for info on Mayo's from PR, the genealogy of Mayo recorded goes to the 1700 with an Antonio Mayo from Cabo Rojo. He Married Juana Escabí from Cabo Rojo also.

    They had children, among them, Bernardo Mayo Escabí, registered from Mayaguez. He has 2 marriages. The first wife surname was Prieto. The second wife's surname was Ayalas. From the first wife several children were produced, including Ulises, Bernardo,
    Rosa and another girl who passed away very young. Eventually Ulises and Bernardo migrate to Dominican Republic with their families. Ulises returned to PR. Bernardo Mayo Prieto stayed in the DR. Ulises married Felicita Aguayo from Guaynabo. They
    established in Santurce and had 4 males and 1 female.
    As of today only the faughter is surviving. These were the Mayo Aguayo from PR.
