  • Scholarly works on earlier families of Venice

From sswanson@butler.edu@21:1/5 to All on Fri Oct 8 09:51:09 2021
Is there any scholarly work on the families of Venice between the tenth and thirteenth centuries that approaches the scholarly standards of, say, the Complete Peerage? There are a few monographs about particular families. Any general work? Any
prosopography? Many thanks for your guidance!

Thanks for sending these references. I'd not have stumbled across them quickly on my own, and Castagnetti's works offer a rich diet of footnotes.
