    Nothing seems to show up in the map portion. I have no blocking on the
    site. What's the trick? Do you have to log in to use this?

    No log in - should just work at that URL, and did for me just now when I
    tested it.

    I'm using Firefox on Linux, javascript is on, cookies are on, but I think
    it works on Chrome/Chromium and Safari.

    Am using Chrome on a Win 10 box with maxed memory. I saw the screen
    reload mid way through with more dots shown - I assume that was a
    partial and later a full data load.

    Looks like a great resource - looks like I live in what was one of the
    safer places in the world (the Canadian west coast) which is notable
    as my grandfather was a commercial fisherman in Vancouver and Prince
    Rupert during the war. (He had applied for active service - as his
    father had been a WW1 Ronal Navy ship commander - but failed his
    medical presumably as he had lost 3 fingers in a fishing accident
    during the 1930s) As a commercial fisherman he was quite welcome to go
    on "producing food"....

    I'd love to be able to show the sinkings by quarters through the war
    to see how it changed. I'd wager a healthy amount that the majority of
    shiops sunk off the US west coast were sunk between 12/41 - 06/42 when
    the USN was learning their ASW "ropes".
