The British Imperial War Museum has a massive and searchable database of digitized documents - audio recordings (a vast range - sonnds of tanks
passing, interviews, oral histories, you name it), videos (a great deal of material from WW2 itself), books, documents, photos, etc - covering war in general but of course a major part of this collection is from WW2.
