for her first-ever USO tour in Phu Bai, after receiving a request signed
by 3000 soldiers overseas asking her to come. While Bob Hope’s name
seems to be synonymous with unwavering support for the troops and
constant USO tours, so does Ann-Margret’s name. The ultra-famous
actress, comedienne, and singer extraordinaire would tour for the troops
in Vietnam 3 times, and would later write in her autobiography that it
was the most rewarding years of her life, even surpassing her acting
