Yes, Harry would definitely be ripe for "plucking" if this were the reign of either Henry II, Henry VII, Henry VIII or Elizabeth I.

    I do see: from https://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/islam/history/ottomanempire_1.shtml

    "Fratricide
Sultan Selim introduced the policy of fratricide (the murder of brothers).

Under this system whenever a new Sultan ascended to the throne his
brothers would be locked up. As soon as the Sultan had produced his
first son the brothers (and their sons) would be killed. The new
Sultan's sons would be then confined until their father's death and the
    whole system would start again.

This often meant that dozens of sons would be killed while only one
    would become Sultan.

In the later centuries of Ottoman rule, the brothers were imprisoned
    rather than executed."

I am currently unable to find the official Islamic approval
    for killing the "spares"
An Islamic approval of killing the brothers - The day after the death of
the Islamic ruler, 13 caskets were delivered to the palace
The killers with silk ropes to strangle got to even the one
    year olds.

Am I the only one who is reminded of this?:

    - A Royal Deathmatch

When workers make a new queen, they often make more than one. This gives them the best chance at raising a strong, viable queen. However, there can (typically) only be one queen bee in a hive, so when the new queens hatch they must kill their competitors.
A newly hatched queen will sting her unhatched rivals, killing them while they are still in their cells. If two queens hatch at once, they must fight to the death.

As we approach the anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack, it’s increasingly amusing to see that the party of insurrection can’t even manage the orderly transfer of power to itself. Rarely does karma play out so neatly.

McCarthy enjoys Hines-like charisma, it seems.

Firstborns rule society. Secondborns are the property of the government. Thirdborns are not tolerated. Long live the Fates Republic.

On Transition Day, the second child in every family is taken by the
government and forced into servitude. Roselle St. Sismode’s eighteenth birthday arrives with harsh realizations: she’s to become a soldier for
the Fate of Swords military arm of the Republic during the bloodiest
rebellion in history, and her elite firstborn mother is happy to see her go.

Televised since her early childhood, Roselle’s privileged upbringing has earned her the resentment of her secondborn peers. Now her decision to
spare an enemy on the battlefield marks her as a traitor to the state.

But Roselle finds an ally―and more―in fellow secondborn conscript
Hawthorne Trugrave. As the consequences of her actions ripple throughout
the Fates Republic, can Roselle create a destiny of her own? Or will her
Fate override everything she fights for―even love?

(On 18th birthday, off as cannon fodder to the war!!!)

Sheesh, can anyone accept stupid Harry's latest tattle tales,
big tough combat soldier, gets abused by brother!!
Sure, tell all to be embarrassed about loss of virginity.

My views tend to be unpopular in the USA and fairly popular in the UK.
Diana had enough know-how to realise what sort of life she was marrying into (whether or not we regard that life as good or bad), she flunked it badly, tried to milk the publicity wagon and fell off that.
    Hatty's going the same way.
I've no time for either of them so can the newspapers (and we) just now drop it, and give Harry the privacy he claimed he wanted (which, of course, he would now hate)?

There are lots of very intelligent comments above this post. Clear Thinking.

Yes, Harry is an incredible WHINER...

Even Megyn Kelly finds Harry's description of the "non-fight" with William, "incredibly emasculating".

Birth Order is extremely important. Previous Ages had quicker and bloodier solutions to problems with disgruntled younger sons.

Harry is also incredibly naive -- but cagey.

He "stupidly" boasts of his killing 25 Talibans and taking those "chess pieces off the board".

...Thereby creating an enhanced security hazard for ALL the British Royals.

Yet he and his wife have been complaining about the unwillingness of the UK to provide "adequate security" for them and their children.

    DSH
