But workers need to know that Social Security is very bare minimum.
My Social Security benefit payments to me are less than I am getting
monthly as my Minimum Required Distributions (MRDs) from my Individual Retirement Account (IRA / from 403b).
Odds are in the future the SS will continue to fall further behind.
The newer, younger workers are likely to be unhappy and very hesitant in their votes to endorse raising the Social Security withholding tax
for it to be immediately just given to Boomers.
