A 68-year-old California man, Dana Rivers, has been sentenced to life
in prison without the possibility of parole after a brutal triple
murder in 2016.
Rivers was convicted for the gruesome killings of Charlotte Reed, 56;
Patricia Wright, 57; and Wright's adopted son, Benny Toto
Diambu-Wright, 19. According to court documents, the details of the
crimes are alarming. Rivers shot Reed twice before stabbing her over
40 times, focusing mainly on her face and neck. Both Wright and
Diambu-Wright were also shot and stabbed. Diambu-Wright, a recent high
school graduate, attempted to flee but only made it to the driveway
before collapsing from his injuries.
The evidence against Rivers was substantial. Police apprehended him
attempting to leave the scene on his motorcycle, fittingly named
"Barbie." He was discovered clad in Reed's clothes, drenched in blood,
and found carrying a silencer-fitted handgun, loaded magazines, a
bloody knife, and marijuana. Upon arrest, Rivers said, "I know I'm in
trouble."
After his dismissal, Rivers became involved in gender-related
activism, lecturing at renowned universities such as Stanford and UC
Davis. He also delivered keynote speeches for the National Center for
Lesbian Rights and the Tiffany Club. Rivers met one of his victims,
Reed, through the Deviants MC, an all-women's biker gang.
All queers see women as competition and hate them. They would wipe them
off the face of the planet if they could.
