TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Tulsa police arrested a man earlier this week after he allegedly raped a woman and forced her into prostitution.
Officers received a tip about 29-year-old Darrius Johnson, from Oklahoma City, being involved in pandering/human trafficking.
The victim told police that Johnson forced her into prostitution in Florida, California, Texas, and the Oklahoma City area.
Johnson allegedly told the victim he was coming to Tulsa to force her into more work.
Investigators were told what vehicle Johnson would be driving. On Thursday, the TPD helicopter spotted him just after midnight.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail, facing charges of pandering after former conviction of a felony and human trafficking. His bond is set at $700,000.
