• African Origins & Cannibalism

So DHA presents a MASSIVE problem for the Out of
Africa purity crowd. There just plain aren't great
sources in Africa, not very good sources at all on a
savanna, and our brains had to have evolved within
an environment were there was an ample supply of
    DHA.

    But what about cannibalism?

I suppose if you want to argue that stereotypical
cannibal head hunter, you could spin a scenario
were the DHA they acquired in life, even if
insufficient, was augmented by consuming the brains
and hence the DHA accumulated by others.

    A snowball effect?

Not sure how this isn't racist but saying they picked
up their DHA on a Southeast Asian beach is wildly
    racist...

From where comes the data that DHA is so rare in
nature that one has to dive into ocean to find it? There
are zero sources in Africa. In reality there are no such
problem ... lot of edible things like eggs of birds and
termites, various seeds and nuts contain it plenty. That
was about older hominids. Newer ... h.sapiens has
mutations in the FADS2 gene, which encodes
Δ6-desaturase; a key enzyme for the synthesis of
DHA and sapienic acid so needs to consume it less.

Not healthy. You have risk to gain the diseases and
parasites of victim. Mad Cow Disease (BSE) was
caused by body parts of cows being added to food
of cattle. IOW cannibalism is idiotic.

You're making a classic argument out of ignorance.

"Well I don't know, I'm ignorant, so it doesn't matter."
You have internet access. Use it.

You're making a classic argument out of ignorance.

Here it is again, that argument from ignorance:

: From where comes the data that DHA is so rare in
: nature that one has to dive into ocean to find it?

    One more time:

: From where comes the data that DHA is so rare in
: nature that one has to dive into ocean to find it?

Your argument was that of ignorance.

    Now you're just being stupid.

YOU profess your ignorance on the topic of DHA, and YOU
insist that this ignorance is actually an argument against
    the importance of DHA.

This is not argument, this is question. The lack of answer
to that question demonstrates that your argument is
    of ignorance.

Your argument was that of ignorance.

You are mostly mirroring, but I am indeed stupid to extent
that I'm bothering to answer to stupid person.

YOU profess your ignorance on the topic of DHA, and YOU

Importance does not indicate lack. These are unrelated
    properties.

Oh, that's right; you're the accomplished academic with the powerful
sense of curiosity who can't be bothered to do a rudimentary Google
search on DHA and the brain. That's you. You're the one.

Well, one day we must meet and you really must show me your Nobel
    Prize...

Thanks so much for our time together. it was magic.
