The problem here is that academia treats
students as dogs, and the dogs are trained to
bark on command. So...
Linear models.
The so called "Moderns" did come out of Africa.
But they didn't originate there. They spread
there from Eurasia. And then later, like after Toba
and other events, they spilled out, filling the voids
left by the natural catastrophes.
Aquatic Ape.
The exploited marine resources, followed the coast
(waterside) and in that way spread across the
globe. Groups peeled away, pushed inland and
adapted, resulting in a great many regional
populations... all different... connected only by the
waterside group.
This model began a ridiculously long time ago, and
of course was periodically "Reset" by nature. One
such reset was Yellowstone about 8.7 million
years ago. Another was the retrovirus that ran
through Africa maybe 3.7 million years ago. More
recently were events like Toba. These all favored
waterside populations along the tropics into the
sub tropics.
