OK, so how did 123 posts from 2-5 weeks back get reposted?
Or did my newsreader screw up?

    It's not just you.

(I'm using Thunderbird 115.13.0, if that helps.)

Happened here as well. As suggested elsethread likely a glitch at
    Eternal September.

Ditto. But not only did a bunch of old articles reappear; it most of the
groups I subscribe to the article count is also screwed up (that is,
it's claiming there are 100s or 1000s of unread articles when in fact
    there are none).

Almost certainly. I use Thunderbird and use E-S (unfiltered) and it got
all the repeats, and Solani (lots of filters and what I normally read)
    where no extras turned up.

    Don't see it myself.

Our server isn’t doing it I guess. I did notice a server outage and the entire Giganews website down a week or so ago.

    Sounds like the consensus is an E-S screwup. Not the first;
won't be the last. FWIW, all the filters worked; everything
in the repost list was a normal "allow". But that's local
    via Agent, not through E-S.

    Thanks, all.

Must be an E-S newsserver glitch.

Seems likely. I use E-S and experience the problem, too.

Must be an E-S newsserver glitch.

Thanks. That seemed to be the consensus, but it's good to
    have confirmation.
