Yeah, yeah; cute twist. However, anyone with more than two
neurons to rub together knows that in this context "purpose"
doesn't mean "function", but "intentional design". I'm
fairly sure his body parts, like everyone's, have the usual
    functions.

That doesn't seem to matter since he just made up the quote, and it
doesn't seem to have anything to do with what I wrote, or what was up on
ID scam web site. The quote may be something that he is claiming, and
he is just having a discussion with himself.

But it's worthwhile pointing out that, regardless of the
source of the quote, his "interpretation" is wrong. If he
made it up and *still* interpreted it incorrectly that's
    only icing on the cake.

    What, you're saying I'm quote-mining?

No, you just imagined what I did. I cited from the featured 'Harari:

Nothing wrong with evolution except you need to replace "random
mutations and natural selection" with "intelligent design and
    interaction".

    His wikipedia page says:

"Theodosius Dobzhansky believed that God and science can be reconciled
through the idea that the Creator brought about his plan through the
processes of evolution. He described his beliefs as "Evolution is
God's, or Nature's, method of Creation.""

I basically agree, though there are different opinions and
interpretations of how evolution actually works. I don't agree with
    the standard random mutations model.

Evolution as such has been a concept for thousands of years in e.g.
Indian philosophy, but that is a spiritually guided evolution where
several different levels of biological intelligence is running the
game. Something that has been verified by recent biological research
btw. There is a revolution going on in this field right now.

As for my quote it can se I didn't cite it as written, but from
memory, but it's still consistent with what he says.

In my view everything in physical reality is created with a purpose,
as that is always what Mind (God) does (unless we have absolute
determinism where God is just an algorithm running the game).

    He also says:

"In biology there are only causes.”

I don't know what he means with "only causes", it doesn't make sense
to me. In a causal perspective I see God/Mind as the original
non-physical cause in existence, and everything physical is just an
    effect, of this cause.
