MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North.
Elvin Acevedo, 30, pictured lower middle, of Laura Street in Providence, RI, and also Manchester, on four counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault against a girl under 13 at the time, three counts of second-degree assault, and domestic violence-
simple assault, all felonies, as well as two counts of domestic violence-simple assault. The child rape charges allegedly occurred in Manchester between January 2013, and October 2016. The second-degree assault charges allegedly occurred against a woman
and two children and involving two bites and a strangulation in 2016, and 2017. The domestic assault charges also allegedly occurred between January and June 2017, and involved in dumbbell and fists to the head of one of the victims on Hanover Street and
North Commercial Street.
Nathan Albertson, 34, of Pine Street in Manchester, for possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl and possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl with intent to sell allegedly on Dec. 22, 2016, in Manchester. Previously, according to the indictment, he was
convicted of acts prohibited in Hillsborough County Superior Court in December 2014.

Avery Barnes, 39, of Mountain View Drive in Rindge, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine with intent to sell allegedly on Sept. 1, 2016, in Manchester. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to

Brendan Belanger, 38, pictured upper left, of the Route 28 Bypass in Derry, for felony habitual offender as well as driving after revocation or suspension and disobeying an officer after allegedly driving on I-93 in Manchester on Jan. 22, 2017.
Michael Bellavia, 23, of Cardinal Circle in Bedford, on two felony counts of criminal threatening and simple assault. On April 24, 2017, he allegedly struck another person and threatened to murder them with a gun in Manchester.
Metalia Bento, 28, pictured lower left, of Manchester Street in Manchester, for felony domestic violence-criminal threatening and two counts of simple assault. On March 23, 2017, she allegedly threatened an intimate partner with a kitchen knife, slashed
him in the hand, and struck him in the chest.
Darren E. Benton, 40, pictured upper right, of Underhill Street in Nashua, on two felony counts of robbery. On Nov. 13, 2016, he allegedly used physical force against a person while committing a theft in Manchester. On May 15, 2017, he allegedly ripped a
purse from a woman’s neck and grabbed cash from her hand in Manchester.
Kyle Bernier, 25, a homeless man now located in Manchester, for felony possession of a controlled drug-crack cocaine allegedly on April 23, 2017, in Manchester.
Jai N. Boyer, 37, pictured lower right, of Hevey Street in Manchester, for felony duty to inform for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender with Manchester Police on Nov. 8, 2016. According to reports online, he was convicted of 10 counts of
felonious sexual assault on a victim between 13 and 16 in June 2010.
Jessica Brousseau, 27, of Union Street in Manchester, for felony receiving stolen property allegedly while working in concert with Shawn Brousseau and a motor vehicle on June 9, 2017, in Manchester.
