• Usenapp crosspost rule

From Michael Phillips@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jan 9 08:41:39 2023
I have set up the following rule for UKCSM in Usenapp:

If crosspost count is more than 1 group
    Delete

But it's not working. Crossposted threads are still getting through.

Have I not set up the rule correctly?

that works here and shows to have worked this morning.
If any of the conditions are met. crosspost count is more than 1 group.
    Delete.

Should be that. Mine worked, when I updated my "crossposting twats" rule
to include count >2 and 'applied' it.

You don't have a positive rule that overrides it? Come to think of it
I'm not sure how rule processing works if there is more than one 'hit',
maybe that's not a relevant thing.

Strange. The "Metal keyboard" thread, posted to 4 newsgroups, is still appearing despite the rule.

I'm only getting the posts in it that ucsm regulars are single-posting
    here. All crossposts are deleted.

Working here - same rule except it's for all groups. The metal kb thread isn't showing up.

The crosspost rule below works fine for uk.comp.sys.mac in Usenapp:

Thanks Andre (and everyone else who checked). That's how I have it set
up, except that I have the number of groups set to "more than 1". It's
    still not working for me.
I must be doing something stupid but can't, for the life of me, figure
    out what it is.
