    switching back and forth has always been possible. it makes no sense to
    only release specs for one and delay the other.

    Checked my invoices and the monitor arrived in December but I'd had the
    mini almost a month earlier. Mind you I'm quite happy with it and am not
    really a power user. Apart from the usually basics my main use is
    processing still images, hence wanting a decent monitor.

    Me too. Which is why I got the MBP13" M1 originally.

    But the 13" M2 still has it, and no case redesign to the modern screen
    with the extra lobes up top.

    it wasn't. it was dim because it's not active. it's always been
    clickable. again, it makes no sense to show specs for one and not the
