I used to have a sunrise/sunset calendar but this disappeared.
Is there a similar file available anywhere?
Extensive searching gives me loads of unsatisfactory stuff.

You can tailor this to your exact location. Sunrise and sunset.

It is worth it. I don't know whether there is an English interface.

And I'm going to wait for a rainy day to figure out a translation...

What I'm looking for is something to give me sunrise and sunset for my location but on a weekly basis - say every Saturday for example.
No alarm or notification needed.

This is the link for a new webcalendar. Just File -
- New Calendar subscription and enter the link below in the opening field:
https://www.der-mond.de/ical/sonnensichtbarkeit.ical?laenge_grad=0&laenge_minute=0&laenge=o&breite_grad=50&breite_minute=0&breite=n
Replace the values 0 (which is for Greenwich) degree longitudes and the
50 degree latitude with the one of your home location.
If you do not need the calender temproarily just deactivate the
presentation of the daily values in the side panel of the calendar.

If you go to the Weather app in the current iPadOS it will give you sunrise and sunset not only in your location but in pretty much anywhere in the world. And a whole lot more!
When it first appeared I thought, OK, another irrelevant app someone has dreamed up. But in fact I find it very useful. For example, I can see what the weather is like in Kitchener, Ontario, where my son lives.

If you want sunrise and sunset just for today (as opposed to a calendar giving
times for future dates) then they are also included in the Clock app if you add the relevant city in the World Clock tab.
