• No 'iCloud Drive' in sidebar on websites

From Mark@21:1/5 to All on Mon Mar 6 11:06:16 2023
I think I've had this issue for a while (but had no reason to really troubleshoot before now).

Simply, iCloud Drive doesn't appear in the sidebar when I get a file
picker drop-down on a website when I need to choose a file to upload.
It's there in a normal Finder window - just not when it openes on a
    website.

Is this with all browsers? Seems OK when I try to upload using Safari in the latest Ventura.

Update: using Safari 14.1.2 in my Mojave VM and guess what? It ain't
there! Could be macOS and/or browser version related?

Yup, 14.1.2 in Mojave. It's not a major thing and I don't have need for
it often. It just... irks me when I do!

You could move or copy the file off your iCloud Drive to somewhere on your
HD and then upload it from there.

I've noticed that 'Desktop' occasionally isn't there in the sidebar. Don't
know why this should be, but it sometimes isn't.

Yes, that's what I usually do.
