    I decided to risk updating immediately and have dealt with most of my h/w now. iPadOS took ages on my iPad mini 5 but it seems OK. There was also a Monterey update which I applied to my MBA.

    HomePod’s news playing is broken. “Hey Siri, give me the news” now says “There was a problem with Apple Podcasts” and never plays news.

    Just asked it where my phone was too:

    “Hey Siri, where’s my phone?"
    “I’m sorry, I’m unable to find your devices. Please look at Find My on your iPhone”
    -Immediately-, i.e. within a second, afterwards:\
    “Hey Siri where’s my phone?”
    “Looking for Ian’s iPhone 11 Pro Max...it’s nearby!”

    <sigh>

    Cheers,
    Ian

    Siri seems OK on my iPhone 11 post update - will try other devices later.
    In the meantime why not have a look at these new emojis (not that I have).

    On my phone it seems fine too.

    Yeah home now from the pub: Siri is fine - just HomePod it would seem.
