What is your default micro in the Discord-settings?

The OP should check whether Google Meet allows to choose the right
camera. It is not an iPhone/Mac-issue.

On your iPhone: Settings - Data Protection & Security - Camera

There withdraw/deactivate the right for Google Meet to use the camera. I
assume it is also installed on your iPhone.

Do the same with Google Meet on your Mac but there must be a setting
that allows to set a default camera. A more radical solution would be to
turn off the iPhone completely during a meeting.

One thing to consider: Google has absolutely no respect for your wishes
and your privacy.

I sometimes wish I could go back to the days when all I had to deal with was simple things, like the whole computer freezing every now and then. It was annoying and occasionally tragic, but somehow easier to accept than these constant humiliations.

My son told me that a Zoom plugin he uses on his work MBP can change
default mike and camera settings. Do you use Zoom?
