    I don't use iCloud. A brief scan o fteh list of new "features" reveals nothing I'd want that would cause me to change my macOS version. Just a few app
    updates AFAICT.

    Agreed. There are some apps which need a lot of typing, and it's easier to do that on a physical keyboard than on an iPhone screen.
