• Apple pulls iPadOS 18 for the iPadPro 13"

News: Apple pulls iPadOS 18 for the iPadPro 13" after reports
of the bricking of some. (irreparably)
iPads updated to 17.7 first seem to be especially vulnerable.
So, patience until they sort it out, probably in 18.1

I hope that is 13” and not 12.9”?

Although my older Pro 12.9 has been OK so far.

Yes, it seems to be an M4-only problem, so also the smaller one.
And it happens during the upgrade, units that made it to 18
without getting bricked seem safe, so far,
