Came back this morning from a week's trip away and my M2 Pro MBP is no
longer connecting to my external display (via USB-C).

I don't have another cable nor USB-C device to test, but how likely is
it that a cable can suddenly fail? It has stayed attached to the monitor
at all times and isn't under any strain when attached to the MBP.

Could it be something else? I updated to 14.7 while away.

I can connect via HDMI just fine and charge via MagSafe, but having a
single cable is so much simpler!

I have seen USB and HDMI cables just fail without warnings. Even HDMI is
rarely plugged and replugged like every other years. :(

    Is the problem now resolved?
