• iCloud account for an iPad/photo frame

    From D.M. Procida@21:1/5 to All on Sun Nov 3 12:25:43 2024
    I have a 3rd-generation iPad that I use as a photo frame (it has a high
    quality display but it's not really much use for anything else).

    I don't want it signed into my iCloud account, but I want it to have access to a particular Photos album for the photos it displays.

    Any advice on the best way to do this? A separate iCloud account, a Child iCloud account, something else?

    Thanks.

    Daniele

    Hi Daniele

    It has become apparent to me that there is no limitation on the number
    of Apple Accounts (used to be called AppleIDs) one may have.

    May I suggest, therefore, that you concoct a separate Apple ID, with
    it's associated iCloud, where you may store your photographs for
    subsequent display on your old iPad?

    I trust this helps.

    Export the photos to the ipad and take it from there. No need for any internet
    let alone icloud.

    As long as it’s static seems the easiest and fuss free way to do this!
