• Stop events in Apple Mail messages from turning into Calendar entries

    From D.M. Procida@21:1/5 to All on Mon Nov 4 18:21:21 2024
The Calendar is automatically cluttered^wfilled with unwanted items that mac
    OS finds in Mail messages.

In the built-in help (Tips) it says:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu >System Settings, then click Siri & Spotlight
    in the sidebar.

System Settings doesn't in fact contain a Siri & Spotlight entry. They are separate, and neither allows me to "Click the Siri Suggestions & Privacy button, then choose Calendar in the list on the left".

The "Open Siri & Spotlight settings for me" link opens the Siri preference pane.

Siri is all turned off, allegedly.

Is there some way to prevent Siri from helpfully adding events to the
    calendar?
