Ah. I did wonder if this "David" was our resident troll with yet another new gym. Seems my suspicion was well-founded.

Off to the Punishment Planet with him.

He seems to want to have a private conversation with "Old John". So WTF can't he do so via email or other private means instead of putting it in the public domain. Another attention seeking nym identified and kill-file applied

I'm not criticising, I'm just trying to help but we don't tend to do
    that in English.

I know that in German you ram words together a lot to make new ones
that take up forty pages of small type but English mostly doesn't have
that trick. [Yerp, I learned German a few centuries ago for "reasons"
but I haven't really used it for ages.]

We would hyphenate stuff: "English-speaking" and "German-speaking".

Probably. Mostly. Usually. Often. Except when we don't, which is both
common and part of the fun in using English.

Your Germanish usage, though, is perfectly comprehensible and
probably will be stolen by someone for something someday soon. It's
    what English does. :)

The one invariable and universal rule in English is that there ain't
    none.

And I have *loads* of 'nyms for our pet drooler in my filter-file.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

    J.
