• OT: HP Pavilion laptop keys

    Housemate says her 'F' and 'V' keys are only intermittently working.
    Sometimes pressing 'Insert' makes them work, but mostly they're just
    not working. Likely gunk under them, or something else?

    They are diagonally next to each other on the keyboard so perhaps something
    has been spilled in that area leading to gunge collecting underneath. Not
    sure why pressing Insert helps out?

    Sounds likely. I may invest in a can of compressed air. Seems the least invasive way of trying to fix this.
