David, I do wish you'd stop doing this! It always puts me in mind of Lord Kitchener's "Your country needs YOU!".

Are you trying to conduct some sort of poll? Or merely attempting to start yet another thread of abuse and general "Did", "Didn't"?

    Gets tedious after a while.

And anyway, if we did all tell you, what use would the information be to you?

    John.

THIS Jesus was painted by my sister many years ago - I still think it's wonderful. I'll happily share a full-size image if requested.

I did try to ask questions about EtreCheck, politely, on the ASC forums.

And the reply from etresoft on March 25, 2018 nicely sums up all of your stalking attempts:

“Lacking any such Apple service, all you can do is consult online reviews
and recommendations to see if a product is safe and legitimate. I am not
going to make any attempts in this thread to demonstrate that EtreCheck is
safe or legitimate. It seems like EtreCheck may be replacing ClamXAV as the object of your unwanted attention. I'm sure that would be good news for
Mark Allan, but I would like you to find a different hobby. I made a
sincere effort to explain some of the more confusing aspects of security software and to dissuade you from your strange anti-ClamXAV crusade. And
the reward for my attempts to be helpful is that you now start an anti-EtreCheck crusade?”

“There is an old saying that goes something like "be careful what you ask for; you might get it." No one had any idea what your anti-ClamXAV agenda
was about. Your anti-EtreCheck agenda seems more transparent. In all
honesty, I would prefer that you don't use EtreCheck and avoid discussing
it here in the forums, either positively or negatively. Otherwise, you
might set something in motion that isn't what you would have wanted. “

And yet, here you are again - 4 YEARS LATER - still questioning EtreCheck
    AND ClamXAV.

Give it a rest. Your are incredibly boring, stupid and irritating. To everyone who reads/has read your paranoid drivel.

If so, please post a copy of /your/ report.

    Here's one of mine:-

No, and I have no intention of doing so.

Furthermore, your report seems to me to contain a vast amount of information about whatever platform you ran it on, and I am astonished that you would ever consider posting it on an open forum. I would certainly never do so.

I am reluctant to put you on my kill file list, because when you get off your hobbyhorse you make useful contributions to uk.comp.sys.mac.

    However…

In response to your earlier enquiry, life is getting a bit easier here now.

It's an everyday occurrence on the Apple Support Communities (ASC)
forums! If you are unfamiliar, here is an example thread:-

    Hello again, John.

Thank you for responding. I'm so pleased to learn that life has become a
little easier for you now. I have some inkling of how things may have
been for you - my wife of 55 years now had a major heart attack just a
few days before the country went into lockdown. Thankfully, she survived.

You might like to review this recent article by anothe retired naval

David, I do wish you'd stop doing this! It always puts me in mind of Lord
    Kitchener's "Your country needs YOU!".

Haha! :-D Still sharp, even at YOUR age! ;-)

Are you trying to conduct some sort of poll? Or merely attempting to start yet
another thread of abuse and general "Did", "Didn't"?

No abuse has ever been intended.

    Gets tedious after a while.

I can only apologise. May I ask if things are working out OK on the home >> front? We are missing our boating, but the new owners are now posting
    pictures on Facebook.

And anyway, if we did all tell you, what use would the information be to you?

It's only just now that the penny has dropped - cleaning EVERYTHING off >> my hard drives does NOT clean out anything malicious lurking in my

I've just written to mention this to Howard Oakley, here:-

You can see what WAS hiding in my iDrive, here:-

    Wow Jesus.

I''ve been wondering where he's been hiding for the past 2000+ years, now we know.
THIS Jesus was painted by my sister many years ago -

You mean there's more than one Jesus ?

    I still think it's
wonderful. I'll happily share a full-size image if requested.

But you never did tell me when Jesus posed for your sister.

I did try to ask questions about EtreCheck, politely, on the ASC forums.

You are more than welcome to review the thread, here:-

Perhaps some reading here would like to question matters for themselves.

Nothing to question, I'm more interested to know why people believe in talking serpents and talking bushes.
I'd like somem of thiose drugs on the NHS if possible.
I'd likke top know why Jesus decided to turn water into wine.
Wasn;t he happy with God providing water to drink ?

David Brooks typed something on some Usenet group:

My wife of 55 years now had a major heart attack just a
few days before the country went into lockdown. Thankfully, she survived.

I wish her all the best. I take it you will pray for her, that said I still leave the material body in the realm of qualified medical practitioners.
