Does it matter? If I dig around in my Library I can find all sorts of stuff, some of it clearly obsolete.

I used to fret about it, but there's no evidence that it causes any harm and most of it takes up negligible amounts of space. So I let it get on with it.

And you might delete something that IS important.

The library has been hidden from the casual user for some time now (it was in full view at one time) and for good reason.

    Achtung Minen!

    John.

Ha! 😅 Thank you for the warning, John.

I am simply investigating the 'Caution - !) shown by Howard Oakley's
    latest 'tool'.

This is what it shows: https://jmp.sh/K4g8IGN

This computer was wiped clean and had a new macOS Monterey operating
system installed just 3 days ago, so it shouldn't have 'junk' floating
    around in the Library!

Because the entry isn’t for a detection or remediation, and doesn’t
report the result of one, but of a check comparing the creation and modification dates of WindowServer. The highlighting isn’t in the log – that’s added by my code in XProCheck to draw your attention to entries
which you need to check, as they don’t contain the clear statement of NoThreatDetected, or its status code equivalent. That’s all. There’s nothing sinister there at all.
    Howard.
